About

Lime Cordiale is an Australian band formed by brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach. The band's music is known for their infectious melodies, catchy hooks, and clever lyrics that resonate with fans across the globe. Their formal music training and prodigious talent allow them to mix various genres such as indie pop, rock, funk, and reggae into a unique style which has gained a significant following in Australia as well as garnering international attention.

The Leimbach brothers grew up in Sydney, Australia, and were influenced by their musical family background. They began writing and performing music together in their teenage years, eventually forming Lime Cordiale in 2009. The band initially started as a duo, with Oli on vocals and Louis on keyboards, but they later expanded their lineup which now includes long-time collaborator, James Jennings (Drums), Felix Bornholdt (Keys & Piano), and Nick Polovineo (Trombone & Guitar), supplementing Oli's guitar and vocals, as well as Louis' bass and lead vocals.

Lime Cordiale released their debut EP "Faceless Cat" in 2012, which received positive reviews and helped them gain attention in the local music scene. Over the next few years, they continued to release more EPs, including "Falling Up the Stairs" (2014), and "Road to Paradise" (2017). These releases showcased the band's evolving sound and songwriting abilities.

  • Evening had ups and downs

by Westcoastbestcoast on 2025-03-08The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The evening started off with a band! Man I tell you The Haileys were amazing. Their stage performance and original songs had the crowd going wild! Then came a low point. The Orphan The Poet. This band tried to be something they are not. I mean singing covers, really? Then Lime Cordiale came on and ended the evening with a bang. They sounded amazing and had a great stage presence. I would definitely go to see The Haileys and Lime Cordiale again!

  • What.A.Show

by Aussie Battlers Incorporated on 2025-03-08The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Lime Cordiale were absolutely phenomenal. Top blokes, outstanding on-stage antics, excellent chat, generational tunes; they haven’t even hit their maximum potential yet. I’ll be at the front of the queue for their next appearance.

  • Epic performance!

The guys put on a fantastic show, engaged with the crowd and delivered a healthy dose of humour to match the great music. I brought a friend who had never heard of them before and he’s already become a huge fan since.

  • Must see show!

by Cole on 2023-07-31Rating: 5 out of 5

We took a friend of ours to the concert for her bday, my gf and I had never heard of the band before but thought it’d be a fun night out. The show was absolutely fantastic! The band’s energy and performances were both 10/10. We’ve been listening to them non-stop since. The opener ‘Teenage Dads’ was unreal too, caught a few of their songs that we’ve been playing since as well. 100% recommend seeing these guys live, they’re a great time!

  • LIME CO

by jadou on 2022-07-16Le Studio TD - MontréalRating: 5 out of 5

honestly this band is amazing. however the studio td staff is a joke. they didn’t let us meet them so the band came outside. the barmaid refused to serve my boyfriend a beer. i asked her for a water bottle she gave me tap warm water. thé thé guards were practically kicking everyone out even the the band was there to meet us. one of the guards locked us out. overall if the band wasn’t so friendly and amazing the night would’ve been much worse.

  • Best concert I've ever been to

by Bre on 2022-07-15Velvet Underground - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Lime coridale didn't just perform, they gave a show! They interacted with the audience, their costumes were so fun, they went with this sexy, groovy cowboy theme and their intro and outro were so creative. 10/10 I had a blast.
