  • Awesome but wrong timing

by NAH on 2025-05-29Centre Court - IGA Stadium - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Should have been earlier in the day to avoid temperature change or in July when there’s no drastic dips in temps from day to night and high rain possibility. It’s like they forgot we were in Montreal in mai. Also one fan to dry up a whole court not very prepared for foreseen issues. However it was a great initiative and I would gladly go to another match under the stars.

The next best thing to driving 9 hours to see an NBA game in Toronto. Super fun, high level basketball (with intensity). The seats are a tad small in the auditorium though.

  • Montreal Alliance Final

by El on 2024-08-12Auditorium de Verdun - VerdunRating: 2 out of 5

It was great up until the last quarter when the game clock stopped working and no one fixed it. So we couldn't even tell how much time was left and for us, the game finished so abruptly. It was extremely anti-climactic and a disappointing experience.

  • Incredible experience

by Stab on 2024-07-31Auditorium de Verdun - VerdunRating: 5 out of 5

My son and I recently attended our first basketball game, and it was an incredible experience to be part of the excitement. I genuinely believe that basketball in Quebec deserves to be as prominent and advanced as hockey, American football, and other major sports. It would be wonderful to see the Montreal Alliance have multiple venues around the Greater Montreal area, including the West Island. Additionally, I hope for fewer ticket resellers who inflate prices, making it difficult for fans to afford tickets. As a dedicated Montreal sports fan, I believe basketball in Montreal should be taken more seriously and held to high standards.
