About
No Mercy is a German-American pop and dance music group that gained international fame in the mid-1990s. The band was formed by Frank Farian, a prolific German record producer known for his work with Boney M. and Milli Vanilli. The original lineup of No Mercy consisted of Marty Cintron and twin brothers Ariel and Gabriel Hernández. The group's music is characterized by a blend of pop, dance, and Latin influences, creating a distinctive and catchy sound that resonated with a global audience.
Marty Cintron, born on September 24, 1971, in New York City, is the lead singer and a pivotal member of No Mercy. Cintron's musical journey began in his teenage years when he developed a passion for playing guitar and singing. Before joining No Mercy, he performed as a solo artist and honed his skills in various clubs and venues around New York. His vocal talent and charismatic stage presence caught the attention of Frank Farian, leading to the formation of No Mercy in 1995.
No Mercy's debut album, self-titled "No Mercy," was released in 1996 and featured several hit singles, including "Where Do You Go," "Please Don't Go," and "When I Die." "Where Do You Go" became a massive hit, reaching the top 10 charts in multiple countries and solidifying the band's place in the pop music scene. The success of their debut album was followed by a second album, "More," in 1998, which also enjoyed commercial success.
Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, No Mercy continued to release music and tour internationally, captivating audiences with their energetic performances and memorable melodies. Marty Cintron's distinctive voice and the group's signature sound left a lasting impact on the pop and dance music landscape, making No Mercy a beloved act from the era.
No Mercy is actively touring nowadays, as well as producing new tracks!
